Connecting Mississippi is an opportunity to experience and enjoy the diversity within our local community. Vendors will be present to provide information about services available in the community, and there will be games and sports for the children as well. Come and enjoy!
Connecting Mississippi is an event of Embracing Diversity, Inc. Its purpose is to experience and celebrate the beauty of diversity within our community. We are inviting all community members, regardless of race, nationality, religion, orientation, or any other manmade label to LeFleur’s Bluff Park on Saturday, May 25 from 11 am to 3 pm for a day of fun and celebration. We will have games for the kids and resources available for adults. Vendors, whose services benefit diverse and underserved communities, will be present with information about their services. There is no cost for the event, other than the park’s minimal entrance fee. Bring a picnic lunch, lawn chairs, and blankets, and have a fun time with your family.
